Description

The ASR5K-00-WY10W-K9 is a licensing option designed for the Cisco ASR 5000 series. This license provides PDIF (Policy and Charging Enforcement Function) and IWLAN (Integrated Wireless LAN) features with a capacity of up to 10, 000 concurrent sessions. PDIF helps manage and enforce policy and charging rules in a 3GPP(EPS) Evolved Packet System. PDIF communicates with the PCRF (Policy and Charging Rules Function) to make real-time network resources and traffic management decisions based on service information, subscriber data, and application needs. Integrated Wireless LAN (IWLAN) is a service that provides smooth integration of wireless (Wi-Fi) and wireline services. IWLAN extends the reach of an enterprise’s infrastructure to include Wi-Fi networks, smoothly integrating them with the corporate LAN. With a capacity to handle up to 10, 000 sessions concurrently, this license allows for extensive and powerful networking capabilities.
